LaxTrax is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect the following:

• Browsing history or activity outside the LaxTrax app
• Contacts or address book data
• Financial or payment card information (all payment processing is handled securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details)
• Precise GPS coordinates or real-time location tracking

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the Service: Deliver AI-powered performance tracking, generate session analytics, and facilitate team management features.
• Improve Our AI: Use anonymized and aggregated training data to train, refine, and improve our computer vision models and performance algorithms.
• Send Communications: Deliver marketing emails, product updates, training tips, and promotional messages via email and SMS. You may opt out at any time.
• Aggregate Analytics: Generate anonymized performance benchmarks and insights for the broader LaxTrax community.
• Ensure Security: Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.

We do not sell your individual personal data.

We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Anonymized Aggregate Data: We may share anonymized, aggregated performance data with partners, researchers, or the public. This data cannot be used to identify any individual user.
• Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party service providers (e.g., Stripe for payments, cloud hosting providers) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process, such as a subpoena or court order.
• Team Data: If you are part of a team, your coach may have access to your training data and performance metrics within the app.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and in good standing. If you delete your account, we will retain your data for an additional two (2) years following deletion to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. After this retention period, your personal data will be permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

Anonymized and aggregated data that has been de-identified may be retained indefinitely for research and service improvement purposes.

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to our retention obligations.
• Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

LaxTrax complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at support@lax-trax.com, and we will promptly delete such information.

Users between the ages of 13 and 18 may use LaxTrax with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• Right to Know: You may request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal data we have collected, the sources of that data, the business purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
• Right to Delete: You may request the deletion of personal data we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal data. However, you have the right to direct us not to sell your personal information if our practices change in the future.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

LaxTrax uses minimal, session-based cookies solely to maintain your authenticated session and ensure the Service functions properly. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. No persistent tracking cookies are placed on your device.

We take the security of your data seriously. LaxTrax employs industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
